Touch down on KAVX— or hiking in to the Airport in the Sky-
step straight into adventure. Bike Catalina will have your mountain bikes staged and ready, so you can set off at your own pace across the island’s unique and peaceful terrain.
The Ride
• Begin with a moderate 10‑mile descent from the Airport in the Sky to the charming city of Avalon.
• Take in sweeping views of Catalina’s rugged landscapes and sparkling coastline along the way.
• Spend the day exploring Avalon’s shops, restaurants, and seaside charm.
The Return
When it’s time to head back, hop aboard the Conservancy’s Wildlands Express for a convenient ride back to your plane
you are responsible for your ride back to the airport if needed.
